The Maths Monster Method – How it Works

Pick a unit and tap “I’m Ready”
Questions on that unit arrive in your email (app coming soon): original, exam-style and ready to print. Your child answers on paper, away from the screen.

Upload, check, rate
You upload a photo of the work, and that unlocks the answers. Your child checks theirs against ours and rates each question red, amber, yellow or green (depending on accuracy of answers). Want it marked for you? Add a human marker for free** or an AI marker for a small fee.

Six rounds, spaced to suit your child
The unit comes back up to five more times, with new numbers each time. If a round felt hard, the next one comes sooner; if it went well, the spaced interval grows. Practice goes where it’s needed.

Why I built this
For two decades I’ve asked students for three things: show your working, revise throughout the year rather than the night before, and do your homework honestly rather than lean on the growing number of ways to cheat. I’ve had variable and limited success with the first two and the third is in very sharp decline. Maths Monster is my response: a firm nudge back in the right direction. Your child writes their answers by hand, away from the screen, and the questions return at spaced time intervals according to their success, so the learning actually sticks.
